Description

Stephan's Quintet was near the zenith when I started, so I had a hard time finding it because I couldn't get my old body and old eyes into the right position. But finally I matched a little asterism in my guide scope with the AstroPlanner map and I walked my way to the target. 5 s exposures were enough to see faint fuzzies in the DSI IIc image. The chiller is not working tonight so I have a noisy 19 °C CCD. Some wind gusts. Finally high clouds came in and ended the session prematurely. And I was getting round stars for this one!
